The deadline for submission is 17th June 2026. This project proposal should be sent by email as part of a PDF attachment, which also includes your CV to admin@britishzeolite.org with the subject consisting of ‘SUMMER BURSARY’, followed by your surname. E.g., ‘SUMMER BURSARY JONES’

The filename of your PDF attachment should be the same as the email subject, but with words separated by underscores. E.g., ‘SUMMER_BURSARY_JONES’.

You must have approval from your intended supervisor before submission. We will contact your intended supervisor independently, requesting a letter of support for your application. As part of the selection process, shortlisted applicants will be invited to a brief interview together with their host supervisor.

Applicants who identify as being from a group currently underrepresented in chemistry, engineering, or wider STEM disciplines are actively encouraged to apply. If you feel this is applicable to you, please briefly outline in your submission email how you meet these criteria and any circumstances you would like the panel to consider. Any information provided will be treated confidentially and used only for the purposes of bursary consideration and equality, diversity, and inclusion monitoring.
